Have you heard the good news? There will be a sequel to To Kill a Mockingbird. It is titled Go Set a Watchman.

Lee wrote it during the 1950s but set it aside following the publication of To Kill a Mockingbird. In fact the novel was the original book to be published, but Lee ended up writing To Kill a Mockingbird as advised by her editor.

The book will evidently feature Scout.Only this time she will be an adult…

    1. The book can already be pre-ordered at Waterstone! How cool is that!
I don’t know if it will be as good as TKAM though.I mean, otherwise the editor wouldn’t have told Lee to rewrite it from Scout’s childhood perspective. But well,I’ll have to read it to see.

      1. Yeah, I thought about that too. It’s pretty hard to top a book like that. But for right now, I’m just going to go on thinking it will be epic. 🙂

  1. There is concern about this seemingly good news. If this story has been around since the days of TKAM, why does it now suddenly appear? Especially since Alice has passed away, who protected Lee’s interests. I fear someone is taking advantage of the situation.

    1. Sharp eye! I’ve read an article about just what you said.
But some days ago,Lee’s publishing house have released a statement, saying they are not taking advantage of anything with this novel….

Tell me what you think! :)
